About

Summer De Guia is a contemporary artist whose distorted nudes challenge societal beauty standards and social politics that often confine it. In her art, the human body is not merely flesh and bone, but a canvas for discourse. De Guia's work is characterized by a contrast of realistic female figures against flat, color-saturated backdrops of intimate settings. The pieces invite onlookers to contemplate the complexity of the female experience in a personal and public context.
